Justin Lipana

Hello,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Justin Lipana and I am a junior at Woodinville High School in Woodinville WA.  My brother Zach and I have been racing off-road motorcycles in the Northwest for the past six years.  I have just qualified in the E2 class (250/450cc class) and have been selected to be one of 34 riders to represent the United States Race Team at the 83^rd International Six Day Enduro .  This year the ISDE is being held in Serres Greece, September 1^st-6^th, 2008.  I will be competing against over 450 riders from all over the world.  The ISDE is the Olympics of off-road motorcycle racing and is one of the oldest running races.  For more info see http://www.isde2008.gr/.  This has been a personal goal for me and will be my first attempt at competing at an International level.  I am very excited and proud to represent the U.S. Team.

I will be racing on a Club Team and will be responsible for funding all of my race and travel expenses.  My support team is my Mom and Dad and younger brother, Zach, who just missed making the U.S. Team.  The expenses are numerous, as one can imagine, and include bike parts and supplies from tires, brakes, guards etc, to riding gear and supplies to get through six days in a row of racing over 120 miles each day.  Any support you can provide in any area is greatly appreciated, including just holding good thoughts for me and wishing me “Good Luck!”
